Estonian Direct Selling Association ensures that all personal data provided on the website www.edsa.ee are processed in a lawful, fair and transparent manner. Personal data are collected only for the purposes specified and explicitly defined by this policy and are not processed in a way incompatible with those purposes.

MAIN TERMS

Privacy Policy – the rules of processing personal data and cookie usage information, which are posted on the website www.edsa.ee.

Website – the website located at address www.edsa.ee and where a visitor can submit electronic queries,- a consumer’s complaint form and a contact form.

Data Controller – a legal or natural person who alone or in association with others, establishes the purposes and means of processing personal data. Data Subject – a visitor of website www.edsa.ee, who personal data is managed by the Data Controller for the purpose of administering electronic queries.

Personal Data – personal data that is managed by the Data Controller and allows identification of the visitor of the website, including, but not limited to: name, surname, address of e-mail and other.

Data Management – any action taken with personal data: collecting, recording, storing, modifying (adding or editing), usage, deletion, or other action or set of actions.

Consent – the free expressed act of the Data Subject with which he agrees on the processing of personal data.

The data subject agrees that, by submitting a consumer’s complaint form or an electronic query/contact form the Data Manager will process personal data submitted by him for the purpose of handling the complaint or replying to an electronic query, e-mail.

A Data Subject who has properly identified himself / herself, by submitting an identity document or a notarized copy of such document, has the right to request our confirmation or processing of his or her personal data and to request access to our processed his or her personal data.

The Data Controller, upon receipt of a legitimate request from a Data Subject to access to the processed personal data, shall provide the reply within 30 (thirty) calendar days from the receipt of the request.

A Data Subject has the right at any time to cancel his or her consent regarding the processing of personal data, as well as request that the Data Controller would erase all data relating to him or her. However, this provision does not apply if, under the laws, the Data Controller is required to store data.

Amendments or supplements to the Policy take effect from the day of their publication, i.e. from the day they are posted on  website www.edsa.ee. If you login or use our content and/or services, we will assume that you agree to the new requirements of Privacy Policy. The latest version of the Privacy Policy is always available at www.edsa.ee.

FINAL PROVISIONS

This Privacy Policy is reviewed once in 2 (two) years and updated according the needs.

This Privacy Policy comes into force from March 25, 2019 and is publicly available on the website www.edsa.ee
